3 years ago, i never would have thought i'd be sitting here alone, afraid to even try a relationship for fear of it ending in ruins.

3 years ago, i was so happy, nothing could have prepared me for this, no amount of warnings, no friends being there for me. nothing.

3 years ago, i was in love, however blindly it might have been. i was happy, i had hope.

now, i'm alone. i am broke, i'm between a rock and a hard place at school and i'm working a dead end job.

I try to be grateful for what i have. i live rent free, my car is paid off, i don't pay for my cell phone.

I have it easy in so many ways, but i cant help but be sad about those things that matter most that i seem to be lacking.
